Job Overview  

As a K-12 Physical Education Teacher, this person will work with the Physical Education team to develop skills-based curriculum and teach daily physical education classes as assigned. As an Athletics Coach, this person will coach at minimum two seasons, as assigned. They will report to the Head of Lower School, Department Heads of Physical Education, and to the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications

Required

  • A physical education degree AND/OR 3+ years of physical education teaching with a demonstrated understanding of elementary, middle, and upper school students.

  •  Experience coaching middle AND/OR upper school-aged athletes.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching K-4 physical education.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish speakers are of special interest, as our students learn Spanish starting in Kindergarten.

  • Winter: Basketball, Swim, Indoor Track & Field, Squash, Fencing

  • Spring: Lacrosse, Track & Field, Softball, Badminton, Golf

Compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience. The range is $75,000–$130,000 annually.
